Job Description

Goliath is seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support brand managers in executing marketing initiatives. Responsibilities include document and database management (master line lists, presentations, one-sheets), item creation in the global database, coordinating cross-functional communication, participating in creative brainstorms, assisting with brand asset review, conducting market research, preparing reports, managing product sample requests, and supporting the Brand & R&D team. The ideal candidate is organized, enthusiastic, passionate about the games industry, and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. This hybrid role requires a minimum of 3 days/week in the Richardson, Texas office.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing Coordinator to join our Games Brand team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our brand managers and ensuring the smooth execution of marketing initiatives. If you are organized, enthusiastic, and passionate about the games industry, we’d love to hear from you! This role reports into the Global Brand Director, Games. This role is based in Richardson, Texas and is under a hybrid WFH/in-office model. Candidates must be able to work from our office minimum 3 days a week.

Job Responsibilities

Document and Database Management:

  • Maintain and update key documents ensuring all information is accurate and accessible. This includes master line lists, brand presentations, and one-sheets
  • Item creation: kickstart the item creation process in the global database by getting item #s assigned and supplying key product information to the systems manager

Brand Management Support:

  • Coordinate cross-functional communication: attend regular brand development meetings to capture any updates that need to be communicated to sales, operations, and market leads
  • Participate in creative brainstorms for product and marketing
  • Assist in briefing and/or reviewing brand assets as requested; this may include product images, how-to
  • videos, and ecomm copy.
  • Conduct regular store-checks and online research to inform Brand and R&D on competitive landscape
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations upon request from Director
  • Assist in additional projects as needed to support Brand and R&D team

Product Sample coordination:

  • Manage the intake and assignment of product sample requests. This includes samples for sales, events & tradeshows.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of samples, ensuring tracking #s are provided to requestor

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented approach to documentation & data management
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to align on prioritization with direct manager
  • A love of boardgames!
