Job Description

As a Medior Project Manager at Boomerang, part of Publicis Groupe NL, you will be the backbone of the organization, balancing the interaction between the team, clients, and external parties. You will motivate and enthuse your team, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. This role involves bringing structure, overview, and calm to a dynamic environment, working with major Dutch brands on social media strategies and creative productions.
Must have:
  • Guide projects from briefing to delivery

  • Request Purchase Orders (POs) from clients
  • Control budgeted hours against realized hours
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team, plan their time and tasks
  • Ensure efficient workflow and provide constructive feedback
  • Represent Boomerang to clients and maintain daily contact
  • Collaborate with Account Director, Creative Director, and Lead Creative
  • Minimum 2 years of agency experience
  • Dutch speaking is a must
  • Excellent people, communication, and negotiation skills

Project managers form the backbone of Boomerang, part of Publicis Groupe NL. We are looking for a dynamic colleague who keeps the interaction between our team, the client, and other external parties in balance. As a PM, you know how to motivate and enthuse your team, and ensure that projects are completed on time - and within budget, of course. In short: you are the one who brings structure, overview, and calm to a sometimes turbulent environment.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

As a Medior Project Manager, you guide projects for various clients, from briefing to delivery. You create and manage budgets and schedules, request Purchase Orders (POs) from clients, and check whether the budgeted hours match the realized hours. In addition, you lead a multidisciplinary team, plan their time and tasks, and ensure an efficient way of working. You give your team (preferably somewhat constructive) feedback, check whether the work is on brief, and ensure a good atmosphere and team spirit.

You represent Boomerang to the client and have daily contact with the client to accept briefings, discuss ongoing projects, or gather feedback. In doing so, you build a good relationship with the client. You work closely with the Account Director, Creative Director, and Lead Creative for your clients. As a Medior Project Manager, you will be guided by a Senior Project Manager.

  • For this role, a minimum of 2 years of agency experience is required;
  • Dutch speaking is a must;
  • You have great people skills, in addition to communication and negotiation skills. You are able to serve clients and build a good relationship with them;
  • You can lead a team of creatives by regularly checking in, guiding the process, and motivating them. You naturally have authority and can give clear instructions, both delegating and filtering and providing relevant information. You know how to give feedback carefully and always remain calm;
  • You are able to break down complex tasks into smaller steps and create short-term and long-term plans. You work accurately and organized and always maintain an overview;
  • You can create and present budgets, and monitor budgets. You are commercially oriented and strive to deliver cost-efficient work;
  • It is important that you oversee the entire process from briefing to delivery and can identify potential bottlenecks in every phase of the workflow. Therefore, you are solution-oriented, analytical, and decisive;
  • You have a sense of aesthetics and understand the client's wishes, allowing you to critically assess creative work before it goes to the client;
  • You also have knowledge of media specs, formats, and general social media trends. You are eager to learn and always up-to-date.
