About the job:
What You'll get to do:

Conduct thorough database testing to ensure data integrity, reliability, and accuracy across various systems.
- Investigate and resolve system errors or discrepancies through a mix of manual analysis and technical tools.
- Regularly monitor logs and dashboards to identify trends, anomalies, or recurring issues.
- Work proactively to prevent potential issues through early detection and mitigation strategies.
- Develop and execute testing scripts for data and software applications.
- Work closely with developers and product managers to understand product requirements and design appropriate tests, develop scripts (e.g., Python, SQL) to automate error detection and enhance operational workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment, actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
- Manage defect tracking in Jira, report issues to development teams, and ensure resolution and validation including root cause analysis.
- Create and provide regular reports to stakeholders about results, issue trends and resolution statuses.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test, system workflows documentation, and troubleshooting guides ensuring consistency and adherence to industry best practices.
What You need to know:

Experience in quality assurance with a focus on data testing and data monitoring results improvements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in scripting & query languages (e.g. Python, SQL) for data analysis and automated testing applications.
- Familiarity with REST APIs.
- Experience with log analysis tools (e.g., Kibana, Elasticsearch) or other monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with databases and large-scale data systems.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns and diagnose complex system issues.
- Innovative in proposing solutions to optimize workflows and prevent recurring problems.
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using Jira for defect tracking and issue resolution.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- A proactive and results-driven approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- At least Upper Intermediate spoken and written English.
