This role is for an Online Marketing Manager Paid Social to join a motivated team passionate about digital campaigns. You will contribute your expertise, develop personally, and collaborate with colleagues in CRM, Product Management, and Analytics. You will be responsible for conceiving, implementing, and optimizing Paid Social campaigns for BILDplus and WELTplus, developing cross-channel strategies, and managing budgets.

Must Have:
  • Responsible for the conception, implementation, and optimization of Paid Social campaigns for BILDplus and WELTplus
  • Develop cross-channel social media strategies (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn) with a focus on performance
  • Create creative ad formats and content assets in close collaboration with editorial, design, and external partners
  • Analyze campaign performance, derive recommendations for action, and implement them independently in close coordination with the team
  • Assume budget responsibility for your channels and manage your KPIs data-driven
  • Contribute your expertise in targeting, audience building, and A/B testing and further develop best practices for Paid Social
  • Work closely with colleagues from CRM, Product Management, and Analytics to ensure an integrated marketing strategy
  • Sovereignly manage external agencies and service providers as needed
  • Completed degree in economics or communication sciences or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in performance or online marketing (agency, corporate marketing, or freelancer)
  • Very good knowledge of social ads platforms (Meta Ads Manager and possibly others) and common tracking and reporting tools
  • Experience in independent planning, control, and optimization of Paid Social campaigns
  • Very good German language skills, both written and spoken, combined with analytical thinking and strong implementation skills

What you will move with us:

What you bring with you:

  • Completed degree in economics or communication sciences (ideally with a focus on marketing) or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in performance or online marketing – whether in agencies, corporate marketing, or as a freelancer
  • Very good knowledge of social ads platforms (Meta Ads Manager and possibly others) as well as common tracking and reporting tools
  • You have experience in the independent planning, control, and optimization of Paid Social campaigns
  • Creativity in dealing with editorial content and social media storytelling as well as enthusiasm for journalistic products
  • Very good German language skills, both written and spoken, combined with analytical thinking and strong implementation skills
