Job Summary

Job Description

The OpenWRT Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining embedded systems, particularly those based on OpenWRT. Key responsibilities include contributing to the development of routing devices, with a focus on areas such as IP routing, NAT, and firewalls. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience in embedded device development and a minimum of six months of experience with OpenWRT-based routers or similar embedded devices. The role requires strong skills in UCI, netifd, ubus, opkg, and build systems. The developer should possess expertise in IP routing, NAT, Firewall, PON/DSL, IPSec, and uboot, along with strong debugging skills.
Must have:
  • 4+ years of embedded, routing device development
  • 6 months OpenWRT based router/embedded device experience
  • Strong skills in UCI / netifd / ubus / opkg
  • Expertise in IP Routing, NAT, Firewall, PON / DSL
