YouTube TV is an over-the-top (OTT) streaming service that brings live TV and video-on-demand over the internet to your phone, tablet, computer, or smart TV. It compliments YouTube's core ad-supported video-on-demand (AVOD) model to add live sports, news, and local and premium content at a price cheaper than traditional cable. YouTube TV is just 6 years old but already has billions in annual revenue and millions of subscribers. It's a huge bet for YouTube overall. YouTube has also launched Primetime Channels, NFL Sunday Ticket, and continues to expand internationally. There are many projects planned to expand the product offerings.
