Principal Insights Analyst

We’re looking to hire a Principal Insights Analyst for a 7–12 month, on-site contract role in Los Angeles, CA with a global leader in gaming and interactive entertainment.

Principal Insights Analyst Responsibilities:

• Use data and strategic frameworks to inform product and business decisions.

• Partner with cross-functional teams and executives to translate data insights into action.

• Analyze large datasets using SQL or Python to drive clear, impactful recommendations.

• Develop and maintain dashboards in Tableau and manage data pipelines using dbt.

• Utilize Databricks for analytics and modeling.

• Present structured insights using Excel or Google Sheets.

• Deliver compelling findings to senior stakeholders and product teams.
  
  

Principal Insights Analyst Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in analytics, data science, product strategy, or related fields (gaming/media/tech preferred).

• Graduate degree or equivalent experience in large-scale data analysis.

• Deep expertise in SQL or Python (daily use).

• Hands-on experience with Tableau, Excel/Google Sheets, Databricks, and dbt.

• Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder and executive presentation skills.

• Proven track record of driving business or product strategy using data.
