We are seeking a seasoned Property & Casualty Insurance Subject Matter Expert (SME) with over 10 years of deep expertise in the P&C insurance domain.
This individual must have significant experience working with property and casualty insurance data, with strong knowledge of data domains and SQL.
You will work closely with our clients to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into actionable tasks for our development team.
You will serve as the bridge between the business stakeholders and the offshore development team, ensuring all requirements are communicated clearly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with business stakeholders to gather and clarify business requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Translate business needs into functional specifications for the offshore team.
Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise in property and casualty insurance, driving solutions and improvements for the client.
Serve as a liaison between the client and offshore technical teams to ensure the accurate delivery of business requirements.
Work extensively with P&C insurance data to help develop solutions that meet business and technical needs.
Review project deliverables to ensure they align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in the P&C insurance domain.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry.
Extensive experience working with P&C insurance data, including data analysis, manipulation, and reporting.
Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing insurance data.
Deep understanding of P&C insurance processes, including underwriting, claims, policy administration, and regulatory compliance.
Proven ability to engage with senior business stakeholders and offshore development teams.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate business language into technical tasks.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex business processes.
Experience in working with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers.
Preferred:
Previous experience in a software services environment working with insurance clients.
