The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and protection by coordinating APQP, new programs, and ECNs. This role involves maintaining the quality system to meet EOS/IATF 16949 requirements, coordinating customer audit closures, and supervising shop floor assembly and cutting. Key duties include daily FTQ analysis, customer concern resolution, and developing team capabilities through audits. The engineer will also apply core quality tools, structured problem-solving, and manage customer interactions and warranty analysis.
Must Have:- Coordinate APQP / New Program & ECN
- Ensure quality system meets EOS / IATF 16949 requirements
- Coordinate customer audits and observation closure
- Supervise shop floor assembly & cutting
- Perform daily review of FTQ analysis
- Analyze and respond to customer concerns / WIR
- Develop team capability through layered and process audits
- Basic knowledge of Quality Core Tools (APQP/PPAP/SPC/MSA/FMEA), 7QC tools, Control Plan, COPQ, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, Product/Process Audit, Layered Audit, Calibration
- Knowledge of structured problem solving and tools like Why-Why analysis, 8D analysis, FTA
- Experience in customer interaction and handling (Customer Mapping), warranty handling & analysis
- Implement and sustain control plan on each process
- BE / B.Tech - Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- Min 4 - 6 years’ experience in W/H manufacturing Industry & Quality
