Join Nine Audio as a Sales Executive to drive revenue across linear, streaming, and podcast platforms. You will be the primary contact for business decision-makers, media planners, and buyers, responsible for exceptional customer service and converting client relationships into significant revenue. This role involves creating targeted advertising schedules, prospecting new business, negotiating deals, facilitating premium inventory sales, and managing concurrent advertising campaigns collaboratively within the sales team.

Join the Nine Audio team as a Sales Executive and drive revenue across our dynamic portfolio of linear, streaming, and podcast platforms. You'll be the go-to primary contact for business decision makers, as well as media planners and buyers, taking ultimate responsibility for delivering exceptional customer service and translating client relationships into significant revenue outcomes for Nine.

Day to day you will:

  • Create targeted advertising schedules across all audio channels (based on client and agency briefs) with a clear focus on growing market share and revenue across your client base.
  • Prospect for new business as you look to continually expand your existing client base and your revenue potential.
  • Understand current market trading conditions and negotiate discounts for deals in collaboration with the Sales Manager.
  • Facilitate the sale of premium inventory, including program sponsorships, sports sponsorships and spot packages.
  • Act as the primary, day-to-day contact for key clients and agency personnel, prioritising and accommodating a number of concurrent advertising campaigns.
  • Work collaboratively with a sales team and a Sales Coordinator, while actively engaging in problem-solving within the context of the role's responsibilities.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

  • A thorough understanding of media systems and measurement metrics.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience within a sales environment, ideally within a client role or other transferrable category.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills.
  • An appreciation of the market trading conditions and ability to negotiate trading discounts on casual business in conjunction with the Sales Manager.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite is desirable.
