R&D Domain Specialist

The IT Domain Specialist is responsible for ensuring the functional performance of designated IT solutions by guiding engineers on best practices and maintaining performance criteria, offering user support, articulating technical requirements, and participating in improvement initiatives. The role plans and documents activities, ensuring clarity in operational procedures and measures for solution disruptions. The role engages in customer meetings to maintain operational excellence and engages in engineering activities by managing software and hardware components. The role supports change implementation by coordinating with teams and managing requests. The role works under general supervision, using independent judgment to follow operational policies, and applies analytical skills to resolve medium complexity requests efficiently.

Your role:

• Ensures the functional performance of designated IT solutions by providing guidance to engineers on usage and implementing best practices, while defining and maintaining robust performance criteria.
• Specializes in one or more IT solutions, offering comprehensive functional user support and articulating precise technical requirements, actively participating in improvement initiatives and innovative projects for continual enhancement.
• Plans and meticulously documents activities, including detailed technical documentation for the designated IT solutions, ensuring clarity and coherence in operational procedures and preventive or corrective measures for solution environment disruptions.
• Engages in operational-level customer meetings to foster collaboration and alignment, maintaining a focus on operational excellence within the designated solution scope, while providing coaching and support to junior specialists.
• Maintains IT solutions by performing regular updates, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring optimal performance and reliability to support ongoing business operations.
• Supports in implementing changes by coordinating with relevant teams, managing change requests, and ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption to existing systems and processes.
• Engages in engineering activities by creating and managing software and hardware library components, ensuring the availability of high-quality resources for development and deployment.
• Develops professional expertise and applies comprehensive knowledge of company products and services to effectively address challenges and opportunities.
• Works under general supervision and established processes, utilizing independent judgment to navigate and adhere to operational policies, ensuring compliance and optimal performance.
