As the Regional Business Development Lead, you will be instrumental in driving growth within Southeast Asia, specifically in the electrical power distribution sector. Your responsibilities will include leading growth initiatives focused on power distribution, particularly busbar products, and developing and implementing regional sales strategies. You will also be responsible for business development in Southeast Asia markets, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships, optimizing channel networks, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely service and fulfillment will also be crucial aspects of your role.
Must have:
  • 8-10 years sales or business development experience in power distribution.
  • Experience in Southeast Asian markets (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines).
  • Strong customer resources and channel networks.
Good to have:
  • Experience at internationally renowned companies like Schneider Electric or Siemens.
  • Fluency in Malay, Thai, or Bahasa.

Job Details

A key player in the electrical power distribution industry seeks a new Regional Business Expansion Leader to focus on driving growth across Southeast Asia, particularly in the distribution of power systems. You’ll blend strategic planning with operational excellence to establish market dominance.


What you will do:
  • Lead growth initiatives in Southeast Asia focusing on power distribution, notably busbar products.
  • Responsible for business development in Southeast Asia market (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines) and to formulate and implement regional sales strategy.
  • Integrate Southeast Asian resources, develop new customers and maintain existing customer relationships, and promote market penetration.
  • Optimize channel networks to enhance market presence.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely customer service and fulfillment.


What you will need:
  • At least 8-10 years sales or business development experience in the power distribution industry (bus trough industry preferred).  
  • Working experience in Southeast Asian markets (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines), familiar with the local market environment and customer needs. 
  • Having rich customer resources and channel networks, can quickly develop new business.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have worked at internationally renowned companies such as Schneider Electric, Siemens and NBB.
  • Availability for frequent regional travel.
  • Proficiency in English, fluency in either Malay, Thai or Bahasa is a plus.
