Job Description

Google is seeking a Regional Security Manager to lead the security operations in Hyderabad, India. You'll work closely with the Facilities Management team to create innovative security strategies, investigate breaches, and develop risk assessment plans. You'll be responsible for managing physical security infrastructure, workplace safety, and air logistics. This role requires extensive experience in corporate security and law enforcement/military, with a strong understanding of security and risk management. You'll also be responsible for building organizational resilience, developing crisis plans, mitigating third-party risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This position requires a strong understanding of Indian regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies that address both global and local security risks to protect the organization's assets and personnel.
Serve as a trusted advisor to executive management, providing expert guidance on security matters and ensuring alignment with business objectives. Maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including law enforcement.
Oversee Global Security and Reslilence Operations (GSRS) such as threats, physical security oversight, incident management, crisis response, crisis management and incident response.
Manage the security budget, allocate resources effectively, and oversee relationships with external security vendors.
Stay up-to-date with developments as well as Indian regulations and compliance requirements.
