The selected candidate will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in the Chandler Fab Cleans equipment area. This includes troubleshooting and repair of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. The role involves scheduled maintenance, consumable changes, and various other relevant activities. The candidate must have a solid understanding of SPC, 5s, and FDC systems and should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. Effective communication, both written and verbal, is crucial, as is the ability to work compressed shifts and potentially complete documentation and train others. The position involves standing for long periods and physical tasks, including stooping, crawling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Job Details

The candidate(s) selected will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in Chandler Fab Cleans equipment area.

The technician position is responsible for effectively executing tasks that are required to maintain primarily the toolsets within the following types:

Semitool: SST-C-421-280; WSST 408A; SAT 2080S; STORM II; RCMS; Raider/Millennium (Millennial)

TEL/FSI: Mercury MP (2nd generation); Zeta

DNS: WS820-L

Akrion: SCP 9400; GAMA

Dainippon Screen: SS-80BW-AR

Screen/DNS: WS-802L; SS-80EX; SS-80BW-AR

The tasks include, but are not limited to, troubleshooting and repair of electrical and electronic systems, pneumatic and mechanical systems, scheduled maintenance, consumable changes, and various other activities relevant to the success of the area. The desired candidate should have a solid understanding of SPC, 5s, FDC systems, and demonstrate problem solving skills. The position requires the ability to interface with other internal and external groups to ensure all safety, performance, and reliability requirements are satisfied.  The desired candidate will be required to complete documentation and train others.

The desired candidate will be required to effectively communicate using written and verbal skills, stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours), and be physically able to perform required tasks which may include stooping, crawling in confined spaces, and lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds.

The position requires working compressed shifts, job openings on either days or nights may be available.

Education:

AA, AS, AAS, in electronics or other industrial engineering related discipline is preferred. Education along with experience or military training may satisfy formal education requirements.

Experience:

Specific knowledge of semiconductor maintenance job functions and toolsets is required.
