Job Description
- Multiplex integration of assets using visual scripts.
- Implement complex gameplay mechanics through scripts and third-party middleware.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize complex audio systems for performance and stability.
- Ensure technical feasibility of audio features.
- Develop tools, workflows, and technical solutions that complement the work of audio designers, enabling them to focus on creative sound design.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in a game development environment, with a focus on technical audio design.
- Proven expertise in Wwise and proprietary engines.
- Solid understanding of game audio theory: spatialization, occlusion, reverb zones, dynamic music systems, and adaptive audio.
- Experience building and maintaining audio pipelines from asset creation to in-game implementation.
- Strong knowledge of visual scripting and text-based scripting.
- Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
- Able to translate creative direction into technical solutions.
- Proactive in identifying potential workflow or integration issues before they impact production.
- Adaptable and resourceful under shifting production schedules and priorities.
- Strong knowledge of Perforce, JIRA,.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Expert and in-depth knowledge of Wwise.
- Familiarity with Maya a bonus.
