FindLaw's Advanced Analytics team is seeking a BI Analyst with a proven record of creating data-driven insights to solve business and customer questions. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker adept at understanding business needs, applying data assets, and performing analysis. This role is data-intensive, requiring proficiency across the data lifecycle, including data collection, integration, statistical analysis, visualization, and presentation of findings. The Business Intelligence Analyst will lead projects and provide support for market analysis, product performance, operations workflow, and customer-facing reporting, requiring continuous learning of analytical tools and techniques.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data quality & processing
- Experience with raw data formats (JSON, HDFS, S3)
- Experience with relational databases and data warehouses (Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
- Experience with data management tools (Alteryx, Glue, Informatica)
- Strong SQL/PL SQL proficiency
- Experience with PowerBI and Tableau for dashboards and reports
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Problem-solving mentality and initiative
Good to have:
- Lead monitoring of data quality and processes across platforms
- Develop improvements for data accuracy and timeliness
- Assist in designing new data source integrations
- Monitor and manage report usage and retirement

As a Sr. BI Systems Analyst, you’ll play a leading role in helping define, manage and monitor the workflow, lineage and quality of our data across multiple platforms and for multiple end users and use cases. This role is data intensive and requires strong technical capabilities in
working with and managing data in a variety of states – from raw, big data stored in platforms like S3 and HDFS to transformed data in relational database – and the tools and technologies used to do so.

About The Role:
As a Sr. BI Systems Analyst, you will:
● Lead our efforts in monitoring data quality and processes across multiple platforms, from raw file and object stores to relational databases and the
● dashboards and reports that rely on them, to ensure our data is accurate for end users.
● Take the lead in developing improvements to those workflows and processes that enhance the accuracy and timeliness of our data.
● Assist in the design and planning of how new data sources or data details will integrate into those existing processes.
● Assist in the monitoring and management of report usage and the retirement or sunsetting of reports as the need for them declines.
● Help support ad hoc needs for BI analysts as they emerge.
You’re a fit for the Business intelligence Analyst role if you have:
● A bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, business or related field, or equivalent experience.
