Dash Financial Technologies is seeking a Senior Business Analyst experienced in order routing applications and messaging protocols to join their team. The role involves gathering client requirements and transforming them into functional and non-functional specifications for various components, including messaging interfaces, API mapping rules, data models, order processing rules, and state machines. The analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to define system functionality, assist in solution planning, and ensure clear documentation for development and testing. The ideal candidate will work closely with other business analysts, development, and QA teams to ensure high-quality delivery.
Must have:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Business Analyst in a financial firm
- Strong knowledge of US Equities and Options
- Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP stack and networking
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Good to have:
- Experience in order routing applications
- Experience with messaging protocols

Key Responsibilities:
- Gather requirements from clients and transform them into functional/non-functional requirements for frontend and backend components, including:
- Messaging interfaces between routing components and clients and exchanges
- Mapping rules between different APIs
- Data model for different system entities
- Order processing rules and algorithms
- Entities state machines
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define system functionality and ensure optimal design solutions.
- Assist in solution planning, impact analysis, and project implementation.
- Ensure clear, structured documentation to support development, testing, and deployment.
- Work closely with other business analysts, development and QA teams to maintain high-quality delivery
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Business Analyst for a financial firm
- Strong knowledge and experience in the US Equities and Options
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Good understanding and experience with the software development lifecycle
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP stack, networking, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Math, or related disciplines
