Job Description

PubW, a Publicis Groupe unit, supports Walmart's media and data needs, focusing on innovative marketing and growth. The Social Media Manager will primarily manage paid social campaigns across platforms like TikTok, Meta, X, LinkedIn, Reddit, and Pinterest. This role involves trafficking, optimization, troubleshooting, and reporting to exceed client expectations and KPIs. The manager will also brainstorm improvements, manage communications, and ensure proper tool utilization for campaign lifecycle, working closely with internal and finance teams.
Good To Have:
  • Experience working in a media planning or buying position at an advertising or media agency.
  • Experience activating on Pinterest, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Reddit and X.
  • PC proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products including Word, Excel and Power Point.
Must Have:
  • Primary owner of paid social campaign trafficking, optimization, troubleshooting and reporting for TikTok.
  • Provide consistent optimization of paid social campaigns to exceed client expectations.
  • Create and monitor advertising campaigns across various paid social media channels.
  • Recommend, implement and report optimization recommendations for performance improvements.
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal teams regarding campaign delivery data.
  • Monitor daily paid social campaign pacing and performance to exceed client KPIs.
  • Ensure proper internal tools are utilized for lifecycle of social campaign.
  • Brainstorm and implement new ways to improve advertising and engagement.
  • Manage internal and external communication during all phases of an active social campaign’s lifecycle.
  • Actualize spend upon campaign completion and work with the finance team on delivering invoices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or equivalent field of study.
  • 2-3 years of direct PAID social media experience required.
  • Must have experience activating on Meta, TikTok.
  • General understanding of media and terminology.
  • Understand different funnel tactics and what platform objectives/KPIs are leveraged.
  • Intermediate Excel skills: comfort with pivot tables is a must.
  • Experience in working with large datasets and performing quantitative analysis.
  • Competency in mathematical concepts.

Overview

The Social Media Manager will have a keen understanding of social and leveraging various ad types and objectives to drive results. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT CONTENT CREATION OR ORGANIC POSTING POSITION.

Responsibilities

  • Primary owner of paid social campaign trafficking, optimization, troubleshooting and reporting for TikTok.
  • Provide consistent optimization of paid social campaigns to exceed client expectations.
  • Create and monitor advertising campaigns across various paid social media channels including Meta, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Reddit and Pinterest.
  • Recommend, implement and report optimization recommendations for performance improvements.
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal teams regarding campaign delivery data pertinent to client and business goals.
  • Monitor daily paid social campaign pacing and performance to exceed client KPIs and expectations.
  • Ensure proper internal tools are utilized for lifecycle of social campaign from flawless launch through timely billing.
  • Brainstorm and implement new ways to improve advertising and engagement on all social media platforms.
  • Manage internal and external communication during all phases of an active social campaign’s lifecycle.
  • Actualize spend upon campaign completion and work with the finance team on delivering invoices when needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or equivalent field of study.
  • 2-3 years of direct PAID social media experience required; experience working in a media planning or buying position at an advertising or media agency preferred. Must have experience activating on Meta, TikTok. Experience activating on Pinterest, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Reddit and X is preferred.
  • General understanding of media and terminology. Understand different funnel tactics and what platform objectives/KPIs are leveraged to make an impact on client business (CPM, VCR, CTR, CPA, etc).
  • Intermediate Excel skills: comfort with pivot tables is a must.
  • Experience in working with large datasets and performing quantitative analysis.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking ability.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Self-starter who is comfortable with being flexible in an ever-changing environment.
  • Energetic, driven to succeed, team player

Preferred Qualifications

  • PC proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products including Word, Excel and Power Point

Compensation Range: $59,850 - $79,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
