As a Senior Copywriter at Techland, you will be responsible for crafting compelling marketing content, including headlines, articles, video scripts, and blog posts for the Dying Light franchise. You will tailor messages for different marketing channels, proofread content, and collaborate with designers, editors, and project managers. This role involves developing concepts, messaging, and providing mentorship to other copywriters, ensuring the Dying Light brand voice is clear, engaging, and resonates with the gaming community. The responsibilities also include adapting writing content for various formats and collaborating with teams to support business goals.

Job Description

  • Writing both short and long-form marketing content: crafting compelling headlines, occasionally developing names for product bundles or items, and writing engaging, detailed articles, video scripts or blog posts for the Dying Light franchise.
  • Crafting clear, engaging, and attractive content that embodies Dying Light’s tone of voice and resonates with our community.
  • Developing tailored messages that resonate with gamers at different stages of the marketing funnel.
  • Proofreading of texts created by team members.
  • Adapting writing content for different formats, tailoring messaging to fit each unique channel.
  • Collaborating productively with Designers, Video Editors, Project Managers and other members of the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights, ask the right questions, brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and develop messaging for the Dying Light Franchise that supports business goals.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to other copywriters, fostering a learning environment within the team.

Qualifications

  • English native.
  • Exceptional writing skills with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing.
  • Ability to conceptualize top-level ideas as well as manage tactical level executions.
  • A portfolio showcasing copywriting experience within a creative environment.
  • Conceptual skills and ability to bring those concepts to life. 
  • Proven experience in video games and the gaming industry.
  • A self-motivated team player.
