The Ubisoft Data Office – Domain Enabling team is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their ranks. This role requires an experienced engineer with expertise in building data pipelines with Python, Spark & SQL, to develop innovative solutions for the Business Performance Data Domain. You'll be part of an international team distributed in Bucharest, Paris, and Montréal, working with cutting-edge technologies. Responsibilities include understanding business requirements, designing, building, maintaining, and optimizing complex data pipelines (ETL jobs) and related data warehouse models/objects, testing solutions, analyzing data quality issues, ensuring formal documentation, and communicating with business partners.

What you’ll do
- Understand business requirements to design, build, maintain and optimize complex data pipelines (ETL jobs) and related data warehouse models / objects
- Test the solutions implemented and analyze potential data quality issues to determine the root cause
- Ensure that formal documentation is produced for all development tasks
- Have an analytics mindset and a passion for data
- Contribute to the project meetings / workshops and provide the necessary inputs to support the project planning and execution
- Communicate and collaborate with the business partners; ability to present technical artefacts to a non technical audience, adapting the vocabulary accordingly
