The engineer will utilize advanced engineering principles, conduct RF testing, and manage hardware components from concept to production, ensuring scalability and manufacturability. Must have:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Design and develop electrical and RF circuitry for RFID casino table systems.
  • Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD).
  • Conduct RF testing and validation.
  • Direct and coordinate prototyping, manufacturing, installation, testing, and support of hardware systems.
  • Analyze design specifications and system requirements.
  • Oversee troubleshooting efforts related to electrical and RF systems.
  • Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation.
  • Contribute to the development of project budgets and timelines.
  • Collaborate closely with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical and/or RF engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field required.

JOB OVERVIEW

Is looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Electrical & RF Engineer, responsible for the design, development, integration, and maintenance of electrical and RF systems used in RFID-enabled casino table products.

This role plays a key part in developing reliable, high-performance electronic systems by leveraging advanced engineering principles and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The engineer leads complex projects, mentors junior engineers, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and manufacturability of hardware components. Please Note: You must have at least 6+ years of experience in electrical and/or RF engineering, including hands-on design and validation experience, to be considered.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Establish performance metrics and goals, ensuring alignment with company objectives, and provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Provide coaching and professional development to enhance team capabilities.
  • Foster a customer-centric culture, promoting continuous improvement and best practices.
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the department. Assign and monitor daily tasks to ensure productivity and accuracy.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train new team members.
  • Handle the discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Design and develop electrical and RF circuitry for RFID casino table systems,
  • ensuring high performance, reliability, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, or similar) to develop schematics, PCB layouts, and simulations.
  • Conduct RF testing and validation to ensure signal integrity, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and optimal antenna performance.
  • Direct and coordinate the prototyping, manufacturing, installation, testing, and support of hardware systems and components.
  • Analyze design specifications and system requirements to identify engineering problems and develop practical solutions.
  • Oversee troubleshooting efforts related to electrical and RF systems during integration, testing, and field deployment.
  • Review and inspect completed installations and field systems to ensure conformance with design, safety standards, and quality expectations.
  • Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including test reports, design notes, change logs, and compliance certifications.
  • Contribute to the development of project budgets and timelines by estimating labor, materials, and equipment costs.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies in RF engineering, electronics, and manufacturing processes to support continuous product improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful end-to-end product integration.
  • Maintain compliance with local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to fulfill business needs.

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical and/or RF engineering, including hands-on design and validation experience.
  • Proven experience working on complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects from concept to production.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a desk or computer station.
  • Occasional lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds, such as hardware, equipment, or office supplies, with or without assistance.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring fine motor skills, such as typing, using office equipment, or operating a computer.
  • Ability to travel locally and/or internationally 10-30% of the time for customer service needs, or site visits, which may involve occasional lifting and walking.
  • Ability to participate in in-person meetings and presentations, including standing or moving about a room.
  • Must be able to work in an office environment and/or customer site location with varying noise levels and demands.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills — fluent in English language (verbal and written).
  • Must have an organized and analytical working style, and the ability to plan your own work.
