Job Description

Domo is seeking a Senior Field and Partner Marketing Manager to develop and execute partner marketing programs for its ecosystem, including cloud data warehouses, channel partners, system integrators, and solutions partners. This role aims to generate qualified leads and accelerate sales pipeline progress. The manager will support the partner and sales teams by researching, planning, executing, and measuring initiatives, contributing to the overall partner strategy, driving revenue growth, and enhancing customer and partner relationships. Key responsibilities include executing marketing plans, analyzing partner efforts, planning event participation, developing creative campaigns, collaborating with internal teams, reporting on program success, building relationships with partners and sales, managing vendor requests, attending events, and coordinating deliverables. The role also involves learning and performing marketing operations processes, creating process documents, and interacting with C-suite executives.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 5-7 years of relevant marketing experience

  • Experience in SMB, mid-market, and enterprise demand generation

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Field and Partner Marketing Manager position will play a vital role in setting strategy, implementing and executing partner marketing programs for Domo’s ecosystem (Cloud data warehouses, channel partners, system integrators and solutions partners), to generate qualified leads for the Domo sales team and to accelerate the progress of opportunities in the sales pipeline. This individual will be supporting the Partner team and Sales team to research, plan, execute and measure initiatives within Domo’s Partner Marketing team. This person will also assist in the execution of the team’s GTM plan with the Ecosystem, including sell through, sell with and sell to strategies. This role will support the overall company partner strategy, drive profitable revenue growth, enhance customer and partner relationships, and inspire employees and customers. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Executing partner marketing plans, programs and campaigns designed to build the sales pipeline, generate leads and accelerate opportunities for the field;
  • Analyzing and assessing current partner efforts and make changes focused on maximizing resources and exceeding target objectives;
  • Planning and orchestrating Domo’s participation in regional and industry partner events;  
  • Developing creative marketing campaigns to attract the attention of business executives and IT leaders;
  • Working with sales, product marketing, partner marketing and creative services in the execution of partner marketing plans;
  • Frequent, detailed reporting on partner marketing programs and their success against sales and demand generation objectives;
  • Build key relationship with the partner and sales teams;
    • Communicating with sales to gain buy-in, understanding and participation in marketing programs.
  • Manage third party vendor requests such as target list pulls, event briefs, speaker coordination;
  • Attend and assist at partner and field marketing events- such as Domo’s user conference tour;
  • Coordinate partner event deliverables across teams (Global Demand Center, Sales, MOPs, etc.); 
  • C-suite Executive interaction and communication;
  • Learn and perform Marketing Operations processes (including Domo dashboards, campaign code creation, list uploads, intake forms);
  • Create new partner process documents where needed.  

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience;
  • B2B technology experience; Partner/ Partner Marketing experience a plus;
  • 5-7 years of relevant marketing experience;
  • Ability to identify effective marketing campaigns for sales force success;
  • Experience in SMB, mid market and Enterprise demand generation;
  • Proven ability to work closely and successfully with partner teams and sales organizations;
  • Experience identifying sales targets based on industry, use case or geo;
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams;
  • Must be comfortable holding teams accountable and having difficult conversations when needed;
  • Strong analytic, reporting and written communication skills;
  • Rigorous attention to detail and focus on the quality of deliverable;
  • Experience with Domo, Salesforce.com and Eloqua a plus;
  • Must be able to travel 25%; 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Critical and creative thinker who is always seeking better methods;
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite;
  • Ability to learn multiple B2B industry tools which are essential for the role:
    • CRM: Salesforce
    • Google Drive: Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Microsoft Products: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
    • Registration and Event Management Platforms: Asana and Zoom Webinar;
  • Flexible attitude, and experience working in a fast-paced environment;
  • Autonomous and self-starting, thrives in a virtual work environment;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Must be able to read, examine, and organize documents in English.
