Job Description

GoFundMe is seeking a Senior Operations Program Manager to enhance global customer experience by supporting strategic initiatives. This role involves driving cross-functional projects from strategy to execution, identifying and solving operational bottlenecks, and leveraging automation and AI. The manager will influence senior stakeholders, build vendor partnerships, and autonomously own high-impact projects, contributing to growth, efficiency, and effectiveness across operations teams.
Good To Have:
  • Prior experience with payments, fintech, ecommerce, social media, or marketplace companies.
  • Prior experience with Looker, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
  • Experience with (or strong interest in) trust & safety, compliance, customer support, or payments risk operations.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk trends in the ecommerce, marketplace, or financial services industries.
  • Curiosity about AI and automation with ideas for applying them to operational improvements.

This role is a key contributor to our Program Management team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Program Management. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for enhancing our global customer experience through supporting strategic initiatives that drive growth, efficiency, automation, and effectiveness across GoFundMe’s operations teams.

The Job

  • Drive cross-functional initiatives across Operations, Product, Risk, Customer Care, and more - leading projects from strategy to execution to measurable outcomes
  • Proactively identify and solve operational bottlenecks, designing sustainable improvements that prevent issues before they happen
  • Bring curiosity about automation and AI to every project, scaling smarter instead of harder
  • Influence senior stakeholders by framing problems clearly, driving alignment, and ensuring adoption of new ways of working
  • Build strong partnerships with external vendors and tools providers, ensuring they deliver on performance, cost, and innovation to support Operations’ goals
  • Autonomously own high-impact projects end-to-end, while contributing to broader strategic initiatives
  • Maintain clear, living documentation for processes and tools that keep our teams moving fast
  • Measure what matters - track success, performance, and adoption with data-driven reporting and insights
  • Keep a pulse on payments, charitable giving, fintech, and trust & safety trends - and translate them into smarter operational strategies

You

  • 4+ years of experience in Business Operations, Strategy, Project Management, or a related field
  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in business, engineering, finance, economics, or similar discipline
  • A proven operator - you know how to turn an idea into execution, and execution into impact
  • Collaborative and influential - a trusted partner who can align teams and move work forward
  • Analytical and curious - you find patterns, ask the right questions, and solve problems creatively
  • Adaptable and resilient - you thrive in fast-moving environments with shifting priorities
  • Tech and AI-savvy - you lean into tools, automation, and data to get better outcomes
  • Strong communicator, detail-oriented, and relentless about quality

Preferred

The total annual salary for this full-time position is $87,500 - $148,000 + equity + benefits. As this is a remote position, the salary range was determined by role, level, and possible location across the US. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
