Job Summary:

P99soft is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior QA Engineer with over 5 years of experience to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Playwright, and will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our software products through comprehensive testing and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Playwright.
• Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure product quality and functionality.
• Identify and document test cases and scenarios based on requirements and specifications.
• Execute automated and manual tests, analyze results, and report defects with detailed descriptions and steps to reproduce.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand product functionality and resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot and debug test failures, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines include robust automated test coverage.
• Enhance and expand the automated test framework to improve test efficiency and coverage.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve testability and overall software quality.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in automated testing and quality assurance.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in QA engineering with a focus on automation testing.
• Experience with other automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, etc.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright or similar testing frameworks.
• Excellent understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of performance testing and tools.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in testing cloud-based applications.
