Must have:

  • Stay updated on industry trends and Walmart Connect platform developments.
  • Provide strategic guidance for Walmart Connect search activations to internal teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in retail search advertising, focusing on Walmart Connect and digital media.
  • Practical experience with HOK tools specific to Walmart Connect for campaign management.
  • Proficiency in campaign tracking, performance analytics, and reporting software.
  • Strong communication, project management, and negotiation skills.

Overview

As a Sr. Retail Search Specialist with expertise in Walmart Connect, you will be instrumental in crafting and implementing innovative search strategies that heighten product visibility, boost sales, and enhance customer engagement. This role demands a strategic and detailed expert in the Walmart Connect ecosystem, with a solid understanding of paid search techniques within it.

In this dynamic position, you will closely collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide pivotal support in the design, execution, and optimization of search campaigns. Your expertise and perspectives will guide meaningful planning and ongoing performance improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development and execution of sophisticated search marketing strategies on Walmart Connect, aimed at elevating product launches, promotions, and overall marketing initiatives.
  • Work with internal teams to align on strategic campaign goals, audience targeting, and scheduling, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Leverage shopper insights to formulate potent search strategies and deliver well-founded campaign recommendations.
  • Establish and nurture relationships and optimizing campaigns to achieve and exceed business objectives.
  • Provide clients with comprehensive reports on campaign performance, offering astute pacing and optimization advice.
  • Remain at the forefront of industry trends and Walmart Connect platform developments, continually enhancing your expertise and sharing knowledge with peers.
  • Provide strategic guidance and innovative recommendations for Walmart Connect search activations to internal teams.

Qualifications

Core Competencies

  • Subject Matter Expertise – Deep familiarity with the Walmart Connect and or Skai or Pacvue platform and search advertising nuances.
  • Campaign Management – Adept in orchestrating strategic setup, deployment, and fine-tuning of Walmart search initiatives.
  • Analytical Insight & Strategy – Skilled in interpreting data to drive strategic actions and decisions.
  • Collaborative – Excellent at cultivating relationships and teamwork across client and internal networks.
  • Optimization & Performance Improvement – Proficient in monitoring, analyzing, and refining search campaigns to improve outcomes.
  • Development – Devoted to growth by embracing industry guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in retail search advertising, with a focus on Walmart Connect and comprehensive digital media strategies.
  • Practical experience with HOK (hands-on-keyboard) tools specific to Walmart Connect for campaign creation and management.
  • Proficiency in campaign tracking, performance analytics, and reporting software.
  • Strong communication, project management, and negotiation skills.
  • Creative and strategic approach for advancing campaign success and innovation.

Compensation Range:$79,990 - $104,025 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
