Job Description

As a Senior SDET at Reltio, you will be responsible for testing highly scalable and reliable platform services and user interfaces. Your role involves designing and building effective testing strategies to support a rapidly growing business. You will develop and implement strong testing automation to improve product quality and actively monitor and improve product quality. You will also be involved in finding opportunities for continuous improvements to our system and testing methodologies and work closely with the customer support team to ensure customer satisfaction. The job requires strong skills in Java, test case design, and experience in SaaS application testing within an agile environment.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of SDET or QA automation experience
  • 5+ years of Java development/test automation experience
  • Experience with Object-Oriented design for testing frameworks
  • Ability to review and write code and understand teammates' code
  • Solid experience in test case design and test planning
  • Expertise in various testing and QA practices
  • Hands-on experience in a continuous deployment environment
  • Hands-on experience in an agile environment
  • Solid foundation in computer science with strong competencies.
  • Experience testing SaaS applications with scalable architectures.
Good to have:
  • Experience with Kubernetes and cloud services
  • Experience with Jenkins or other CI tools
  • Experience testing against NoSQL databases (Cassandra, DynamoDB)
  • Experience applying AI methodologies to test creation

Job Summary: • You’ll be testing the highly scalable and reliable platform services, components and user interfaces that compose the Reltio Platform architecture • Designing and building effective testing to support a rapidly-growing business at a massive scale • Developing and implementing strong testing automation for solving improving product quality in a high-volume, high-availability environment • Pushing the envelope on what's possible and applying pragmatic approaches to testing • Take QA ownership of the quality of complete platform features • Vigilantly monitor and improve product quality • Find opportunities for continuous improvements to our system and testing methodologies • Continuously look for ways to optimize and streamline the Reltio Platform layer to facilitate a seamless experience for our customers.Work closely with the customer support team to ensure that our customers are able to use the Reltio features effectively. Skills You Must Have • 5+ years of experience as an SDET, QA automation engineer, and/or Developer • 5+ years of experience in development and/or test automation in Java. Proven ability to do Object Oriented design for backend application components and for testing frameworks and tools • Proven ability to review and write code with an ability to understand teammates’ code • Solid experience in test case design and test planning • Expertise in a variety of testing and QA practices, concepts, and procedures • Hands-on experience with testing processes and issue life-cycle in a continuous deployment environment • Hands-on experience with the software development life-cycle in an agile environment • Solid foundation in computer science, with competencies in algorithms, data structures, software design • Experience testing SaaS applications with highly scalable architectures. Skills That Are Nice to Have • Experience with Kubernetes and cloud services • Experience with Jenkins or other CI tools • Experience testing against NoSQL databases (Cassandra, DynamoDB etc) & Experience applying AI methodologies to test specification, creation etc. Reltio is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
