As powertrain structures become more complex due to electrification, experimental technical capabilities to ensure system-level quality are increasingly required. In this environment, we are responsible for setting functional reliability targets and conducting experimental evaluations for the entire powertrain (motor, battery, engine, drivetrain) in new vehicle development, aiming to provide attractive products to customers that balance quality and cost. This position is expected to lead to a future as an experimental evaluation specialist or manager by gaining experience in evaluation method planning and analysis.
The team consists of about 20 members. It is a flat organization with members of various ages, including those from overseas and mid-career hires, where everyone, including young employees, can actively voice their opinions. We collaborate with other departments, parts suppliers, and overseas bases to advance development.
In a rapidly changing technological landscape, collaboration with surrounding parts and systems is emphasized, and flexible thinking and teamwork are highly valued.
This role allows you to acquire core quality technical skills by engaging in functional reliability experiments for powertrains in the product development of EVs and e-POWER, which are central to Nissan's technology strategy "NISSAN INTELLIGENT MOBILITY." You can experience and realize the impact and contribution to not only the company but also the entire automotive industry, society, and environmental issues.
As a future career path, you can gain/acquire the necessary career in a wide range of powertrain development through functional reliability testing, and advance to technical expert positions or quality management positions.
Continuously learn new skills and knowledge, challenge without fear of risk, and logically organize and explain your own ideas.
