Social Media Manager

We’re looking to hire a Social Media Manager for a global gaming company. This company fosters creativity, collaboration, and a player-first culture at the heart of everything they do.

You’ll join the Marketing/Social Media team to support social media efforts for a major gaming title. This is a long-term contract opportunity. The role is located in Los Angeles, CA, and is hybrid.

Social Media Manager Responsibilities:

• Support the Social Lead in developing and executing social media content and channel strategy for a globally recognized game.

• Manage a global social channel including copywriting, publishing, and engaging with communities with a player-first mindset.

• Build connections with current and new players using both organic and paid strategies.

• Monitor goals and performance metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvements.

• Execute social strategies across platforms such as Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Reddit, YouTube, and Twitch.

Social Media Manager Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience in online communities, social media, or digital marketing.

• Proven experience managing end-to-end social media campaigns.

• Proficiency with tools like Talkwalker and Hootsuite.

• Understanding of platform-specific best practices for global social media engagement.

• Experience developing localized campaign strategies for international audiences.

• Familiarity with popular gaming IP and player communities.

• Knowledge of MOBA and strategy games a plus.

• Los Angeles-based (hybrid role).

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of the assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
