Sr. UX/UI Designer – Design System

Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re hiring a Sr UX/UI Designer–Design Systems for a remote opportunity based in New Brunswick, New Jersey, working EST hours. This is a contract role through the end of 2025.

In this role, you’ll work with cross-functional teams—including experience design (XD) designers, business and tech partners, and instructional writers—to shape and execute the user documentation strategy for a theme-able design system that supports multiple product brands. You'll lead design efforts that ensure consistency and clarity across documentation assets, align with evolving global standards, and support dynamic workflows.

Pharma experience is a plus.

Sr UX/UI Designer–Design Systems Responsibilities:

• Lead discovery and design for documentation strategy and site experience.

• Design and create documentation assets and instructional content.

• Identify opportunities for standardization across brand experiences.

• Align with global and evolving design system standards.

• Support workflows and maintain up-to-date documentation.

Sr UX/UI Designer–Design Systems Qualifications:

• Expert-level Figma skills required (libraries, components, tokens, auto-layout, etc.).

• Prior experience building and documenting design systems.
