The Cloud Center of Excellence team is part of Tencent Oversea IT. The team will laser focus on providing infrastructure, and best practices to enable Tencent’s tens of overseas game studios. The team will partner with game studios to define and deliver the best cloud and on-premises infrastructure for both game production and game runtime workloads.

You will work for our strategic Cloud-enable Studio project which aims to transform the game studios from traditional on-premises environments to next-generation distributed and remotely accessible virtual studios empowered by the latest cloud technology.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Software Engineer Intern with extensive cloud experience to design and develop innovative services/solutions on the cloud for Tencent's overseas game studios.

As a Software Engineer for CES (Cloud Enabled Studios) Studio Application Products, you will work in the agile team, and adopt test-driven development methodologies to continuously deliver services/solutions that meet fast-growing business requirements. You will be able to use cutting-edge technologies to resolve the most challenging requirements in a mixed multi-cloud environment.

Our internal customers include internal or acquired gaming studios. The work scope will include:

• Part of CES team on assigned Java/Python tasks
• Past of CES team on some leading software verification

Based in Palo Alto, CA, this person will work closely with the global IT team, HQ teams.

Requirements:

• Good command of C++, Java or Python programming
• Knowledge of DDD, OOD, OOA, and Data Structure
• Knowledge of Multi-threads programming
• Knowledge in Git
• Major in Computer Science
