Job Description

Plan, initiate, and manage IT projects, leading technical staff and serving as a liaison between business and technical teams. Oversee project stages, ensuring deadlines and cost targets are met. Develop features for Autodesk Construction Cloud, focusing on account, project, member, and permission management to provide a secure, frictionless, and reliable customer experience. Research, design, develop, and test cloud ecosystems, managing execution and setting operational specifications. Collaborate with various teams, write unit/integration tests, and maintain high coding standards.
Must Have:
  • Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects.
  • Lead and guide the work of technical staff.
  • Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects.
  • Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage.
  • Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.
  • Build features that give Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) customers control over their experience with our various products and tools, including management of accounts, projects, members, permissions, etc.
  • Ensure that the right people have access to the right tools in a simple yet secure manner.
  • Create a frictionless and reliable experience enabling customers to have the tools and information that they need to work efficiently.
  • Research, design, develop, and test Autodesk’s cloud ecosystems.
  • Manage project execution by setting operational specifications, formulate, and analyze software requirements.
  • Design embedded systems software.
  • Research, conceive, design, and develop and test features that give customers controls within the ACC platform.
  • Develop or update project plans for information technology projects including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing.
  • Collaborate with a variety of teams in Autodesk Construction Solutions, both domestic and abroad.
  • Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems.
  • Write unit / integration tests to achieve a better and more robust code.
  • Take an active role in code reviews, pull requests, get your own code reviewed by the team and become a better developer overall.
  • Set and maintain high coding standards during feature development, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in an IT/computer software-related occupation.
  • 5 years of experience with creation of intricate algorithms in Java and Python.
  • 5 years of experience creating efficient APIs allowing Server/Client communication.
  • 5 years of experience with development of complex backend systems in NodeJS.
  • 5 years of experience creating thorough JUnit tests, ensuring the code quality of large applications.
  • 5 years of experience conducting Security Scans using BlackDuck.
  • 5 years of experience performing Application Monitoring using services such as AppDynamics, NewRelic.
  • 5 years of experience communicating technical concepts with customers on a frequent basis to resolve any issues they have with the product.
  • 5 years of experience developing code in Rails.
  • 3 years of experience with management of large data sets.
  • 3 years of experience maintaining and interacting with multiple SQL databases.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in an IT/computer software-related occupation. Special Requirements

Position requires at least 5 years of experience in each of the following skills:

  • Experience with creation of intricate algorithms in Java and Python.
  • Experience creating efficient APIs allowing Server/Client communication.

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $164,715 - $180,000 / per year. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
