We are currently actively looking for a Supply Chain Manager for one of the innovative defense startups in the Ukrainian market. Our client uses the latest AI solutions, is fully focused on product efficiency, and has a direct impact on the security of our country.

About the Vacancy

We are looking for a Procurement Manager with a focus on procurement of electronic components and assemblies (boards, controllers, enclosures, antennas, etc.) for serial production.

The main task is to ensure uninterrupted and fast deliveries through effective work with Chinese factories, logistics partners, and internal teams.

The role involves high autonomy and participation in building processes "from scratch". You will become a key procurement expert in a new business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full cycle of international electronics procurement: searching and selecting factories, negotiations, placing orders, controlling production and shipment
• Assessing supplier reliability/quality; building a pool of verified factories in China (primarily) and Europe (as a plus)
• Agreeing on payment terms; working with large orders
• Supply chain optimization
• Working with logistics partners and customs brokers, coordinating delivery to a customs warehouse in Ukraine, and basic understanding of customs clearance procedures
• Cooperation with R&D/engineers: reading specifications, understanding product composition, completing sets from different factories
• Setting up and improving procurement processes (policy, deadline control, reporting, procurement cost control, budget planning)
• Working with documents: forming invoices, packing lists, customs declarations
• Interaction with customs brokers, preparation for customs clearance, control of document correctness

Our Expectations:

• Experience in international electronics procurement (mandatory - cooperation with Chinese factories: sourcing, negotiations, contracts, shipment)
• Experience in international logistics, working with large budgets
• Knowledge of electronics (understanding of the product: board + housing + components)
• Strong negotiation skills, responsibility, attention to detail
• English - Intermediate (for correspondence and communication with suppliers)
• Experience with international documents (contracts, declarations, etc.)

Will be a plus:

• Experience working with European manufacturers
• Network of suppliers in China
• Experience in miltech or electronics manufacturing
