Scopely is looking for a Senior 2D Animator to join our GSN Casino team in Bangalore on a hybrid basis!

What You Will Do  
  • Create stunning, fun, quirky and engaging animations/animation experience that will delight the player. Which includes expressive  2D character animations, Prop animations
  • Create  entertaining game transition & comprehensive game play flows/choreographies as well as particle effects  using the Spine Animator and adobe animate software
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the animations align with the project's vision and goals
  • Utilise knowledge of anatomy and movement to bring characters to life, with attention to detail and physical accuracy
  • Develop and modify animations as needed based on feedback from team members and stakeholders
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, new techniques, and emerging technologies to continually improve and enhance 2D animations
  • Know the game’s story and gameplay (game design documents); understand and communicate to the team the technical and artistic constraints
  • Anticipate and recognise potential conflicts or production issues and recommend solutions
  • Motivate and develop the team members and act as a mentor in terms of technical/artistic aspects 
What We Are Looking For  
  • 8+ years of overall industry experience. 5+ years of specialised hands-on experience of animation
  • Excellent  knowledge of a Spine & Adobe Animate
  • Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
  • Knowledge of Unity ( animations and particle effects) is huge plus
  • Adept at both character and particle animations
  • Strong understanding of animation principles and fundamentals – timing, weight and staging
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise the work in the context of given  · timescales and quality requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Ability to constantly look at the product holistically and look at ways to improve experience
  • Self-starter with proactive attitude to improve own qualifications
  • Knowledge sharing attitude and ability to coach less experienced people
  • Fluent English
  • Very good artistic skills
  • Experience in the gaming industry will be considered an advantage
  • Understanding and experience of 3d animation is a plus
