Job Description
Visa is looking for a strategic and results-oriented Senior Finance Manager to join our Value-Added Services (VAS) Finance team supporting North America Advisory Services. This role will serve as a key finance partner to business leaders as well as regional and corporate finance teams, providing financial insights, strategic guidance, and decision support to accelerate growth and optimize performance.
Essential Functions
Strategic Business Partnership:
- Build strong partnerships with Advisory Services leaders and their Strategy & Ops teams to support revenue, expense, and headcount planning.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of business priorities, service offerings, market dynamics, and performance drivers.
- Partner with sales teams to evaluate product pipelines, pricing strategies, and growth opportunities.
- Develop and present strategic insights aligned with broader global initiatives.
Financial Management:
- Lead the coordination and execution of financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, long-term growth modeling, and business case development.
- Monitor revenue and expense trends, translating analytics into actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Establish efficient processes for monthly and quarterly performance reporting.
- Promote disciplined budget management and investment optimization.
- Understand business levers and recommend measures to improve financial results and business margins, while assessing financial risks and opportunities, and evaluating options to optimize return on investments.
Project Management:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance decision-making efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead or support ad-hoc projects and strategic initiatives across the organization.
- Provide decision support for investments, as well as organizational and functional developments.
- Deliver thought leadership on process design, streamlining deliverables, and building scalable financial toolkits.
Stakeholder Management:
- Influence and collaborate across key global and regional business partners and multi-functional stakeholders on a variety of deliverables and activities.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
- Proven experience in advanced financial modeling (Microsoft Excel).
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI and/or Tableau. Ability to build scalable, user-friendly dashboards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with demonstrated ability to structure and interpret financial data and deliver actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and present complex ideas clearly to senior leadership.
- Operates independently with sound business judgment, especially in ambiguous environments.
- Collaborative and team-oriented, with the ability to build credibility across global and regional functions.
- Prior experience in FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or corporate strategy.
- Strategic thinker with deep business acumen and understanding of the payments industry.
- Experience with complex financial systems (e.g., Hyperion, GARP, GEAR).

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

**U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 149,800 to 217,550 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
