Job Description

The Sr. NPI Test Engineer will drive New Product Introduction Test activities at subcontractor factories, supporting manufacturing process setup and review. This role involves collaborating with engineering teams and suppliers on new product introduction, yield improvement, and test cost reduction. Responsibilities include qualifying new test hardware, providing engineering support for daily production, and ensuring supply chain delivery. Candidates need a University Degree in Engineering with at least 3 years of semiconductor product and test engineering experience, possessing problem-solving skills and familiarity with various testing technologies and equipment.
Must have:
  • Drive New Product Introduction Test activities at subcontractor factories
  • Support the setup and review of manufacturing processes
  • Collaborate with relevant parties on new product introduction, yield improvement, and test cost reduction projects
  • Drive qualifying new test hardware at subcontractor factories
  • Knowledge of Tester Software, Test Program (Advantest, Teradyne, etc.), and Test Data Analysis
  • Provide engineering support on daily production activities
  • Ensure continuous supply chain and delivery to customers
  • Support Security Testing Certification process at subcontractor factories
  • Provide technical support on test related issues and test procedures
  • Provide support for yield improvement through detail analysis

  • Basic problem-solving capabilities
  • Familiarity with Digital, Analog, RF Cellular, Bluetooth, and WiFi Testing
  • Basic knowledge of test equipment such as ATE tester, handlers, or prober
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative to overcome technical challenges
  • Value teamwork and being flexible and able to work well in dynamic situation

Job Details

Roles and Responsibility:

  • Drive New Product Introduction Test activities at subcontractor factories
  • Support the setup and review of manufacturing processes
  • Collaborate with relevant parties (Business line engineering team, Test Designer, Planners, Suppliers) on new product introduction, yield improvement, and test cost reduction projects
  • Drive qualifying new test hardware at subcontractor factories
  • Have knowledge of Tester Software, Test Program (Advantest, Teradyne, etc.), and Test Data Analysis
  • Provide engineering support on daily production activities and ensure continuous supply chain and delivery to customers
  • Support Security Testing Certification process at subcontractor factories
  • Good communication skills. Participate in a multi-cultural and cross-functional team meetings
  • Provide technical support on test related issues and test procedures
  • Provide support for yield improvement through detail analysis, problem solving and team work with cross functional team

Requirements:

  • Minimum University Degree qualification in Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Semiconductor Product and Test Engineering
  • Basic problem-solving capabilities and willingness to learn
  • Familiarity with Digital, Analog, RF Cellular, Bluetooth, and WiFi Testing (or willingness to learn)
  • Basic knowledge of test equipment such as ATE tester, handlers, or prober (or willingness to learn)
  • Good communication and organizational skills
