Job Description

Dun & Bradstreet is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to manage and grow business with large corporate clients in India. The role involves pitching B2B data-related products, advertisement sales, and sponsorship of events. The manager will be responsible for understanding client needs, working with solution architects, and owning the complete sales cycle from lead generation to product delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction and accurate forecasting.
Must Have:
  • Manage existing and new business streams with large corporates.
  • Pitch B2B data-related product solutions, advertisement sales, and event sponsorships.
  • Meet with Heads of Marketing, Business Development, Strategy, CRM, Finance, Procurement, and Sourcing.
  • Understand organizational requirements and resolve client needs with data solutions.
  • Develop meaningful business recommendations using business and financial acumen.
  • Take complete ownership of assigned accounts from lead generation to product delivery.
  • Liaise with operations for smooth product delivery and service expectations.
  • Manage accurate forecasts and maintain a qualified sales funnel.
  • Experience in managing global accounts/relationships.
  • Responsible for implementation and migrating existing customers on new business platforms.
  • Daily reporting of all sales activities.
  • MBA qualification.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in client acquisition roles.
  • Highly articulate with excellent business communication and presentation skills.
  • Product background, ideally selling SaaS solutions.
  • Experience in subscription sales and B2B sales.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an eye for detail.
  • Ability to continuously hunt for new logos.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing existing and new stream of business with large corporates typically fortune 1000 companies across industries and responsible for growing business.
  • Responsible for pitching B2B data-related or data-based product solutions, B2B print Ad/sponsorship, B2B data-related or data-based product solutions, advertisement sales, risk related solutions, sponsorship of events, conferences, conclaves, round tables, summits etc.
  • Meeting Heads of Marketing/ Business Development/ Strategy/CRM/Head of Finance/Head of Procurement/Head of Sourcing and ability to understand their organizational requirements
  • Working with solution architect at D&B to resolve client needs with our data solutions
  • Authoritative business and financial acumen to develop meaningful business recommendations
  • Complete ownership of assigned accounts from lead generation to delivery of final product offerings
  • Liaising with the operations team for a smooth delivery of the product and ensuring the service expectations of the customers are met
  • Manage accurate forecasts - providing and maintaining a qualified and up to date funnel, reporting to management on a defined, regular basis
  • Experience in managing global accounts/ relationships and increasing business for India market by providing relevant solutions
  • Responsible for implementation and migrating existing customers on D&B's new business platforms
  • Daily reporting of all sales activities

Key Requirements:

  • MBA with relevant experience of 5+ years in client acquisition roles
  • Highly articulate with excellent business communication (verbal and written) skills and presentation skills suitable for a global corporate environment
  • Should be from a product background, ideally selling SaaS solutions
  • Experience in subscription sales and B2B sales
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an eye for detail and who can hunt for new logos continuously
