Project / role / missions description

Reporting to the Head of Strategic Design of the Cyber & Digital Identity GBU (Thales CDI), the Strategic Designer integrates a central team of user-centric experts, distributed between France and India. The mission of this team is to support innovation, from exploration to business impact, working transversally for the GBU.

As such, you play a key role in identifying strategic opportunities, reducing innovation risks, and supporting projects in their realization, collaborating closely with technical, business, and design teams.

• Identify and frame high-potential innovation opportunities related to emerging technologies, customer uses, and market trends (AI, cybersecurity, autonomous systems…)
• Transform these opportunities into concrete design problems and viable business scenarios
• Lead ideation, rapid prototyping, user research, and concept validation to reduce project uncertainty
• Produce strategic deliverables such as: value propositions, customer journeys, experience prototypes, service master plans, and economic model canvases
• Collaborate closely with UX designers, data scientists, technical experts, and business teams to ensure global consistency and alignment of proposed solutions
• Design and facilitate co-creation and co-innovation workshops to unite internal and external stakeholders around a shared vision
• Contribute to animating the innovation journey within the CDI GBU, fostering a transversal and sustainable innovation culture

Your profile

You have about ten years of experience in:

• Innovation, strategic design, or service design

• Project management in complex, multi-stakeholder, and agile environments
