Summer Student at Rambøll

As a summer student at Rambøll, you get responsibility from day one, tackle varied work tasks, and contribute to creating innovative and sustainable solutions. You will work together with our consulting engineers and gain good insight into our assignments, work environment, and the challenges and opportunities facing the industry. A summer job at Rambøll will give you the opportunity to gain experience that will make you an attractive candidate in the job market and build a network in the engineering industry.

Start date is agreed upon with the immediate manager, and the position includes 3-4 weeks of vacation.

Your New Position

You will become part of the transportation section with an office in Alta city center. The section has 10 employees and works with a wide range of tasks, including feasibility studies, zoning plans, and construction plans for streets, roads, airports, as well as public transport measures and solutions for pedestrians and cyclists. We have a very good working environment, all highly engaged in finding good multidisciplinary solutions in close cooperation with colleagues and clients. Currently, we are working on, among other things, a new airport in Mo i Rana and a number of assignments for municipalities and businesses in Finnmark.

During the summer, you will participate in:

• Planning and design in ongoing projects
• Site visits, registrations, and client meetings
• Social events

About You

We want to get in touch with you who are in your 3rd or 4th year of study in road and transport. We do not expect you to know everything, but that you are curious, take responsibility, and are focused on delivering quality. We live by our customers, and therefore want you to have good communication and collaboration skills.
