The Supply Manager at Wabtec's Amiens site, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, is primarily responsible for ensuring the timely and quantitative availability of components and products for production and sales. This involves scheduling supplies, managing purchase proposals, monitoring supplier performance, and optimizing inventory flows to prevent shortages and meet operational objectives.

  • Implement solutions for actual or forecasted shortages.
  • Alert internal clients about supply planning deviations.
  • Monitor supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD) and drive improvements.
  • Actively contribute to achieving daily objectives.

We are recruiting a Supply Manager (M./F.)

Who will be your contacts in this position?

  • Internally: planning managers, customer service, sales administration.
  • Externally: The panel of suppliers entrusted to you.

How will you make a difference in this position?

Within the Operations Department and reporting to the site's Supply Chain Manager, your main activity will be to guarantee the availability of components/products necessary for production or sale, both in terms of quantity and deadline.

What would we like to find in you?

  • BAC+2/3 degree specialized in logistics,
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in supply, ideally in industry,
  • Experience in inventory management, Incoterms, and OTD, with mastery of costs and deadlines,
  • Mastery of negotiation techniques,
  • Fluent English,
  • Authorization to work in the E.U.

What will your days look like?

  • Schedule supplies, release purchase or distribution proposals,
  • Monitor, follow up, inform relevant people
  • Process various messages and alerts generated by the system
  • Adapt parameters to optimize flows (alternative supply parameters, grouping…)
  • Deploy solutions at your level to address actual or forecasted shortages
  • Alert internal clients of supply planning deviations
  • Monitor supplier OTD and implement necessary improvement actions
  • Be involved daily in achieving your objectives.
