Job Description

The System Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the IT infrastructure, administering Windows and Linux operating systems, managing network infrastructure, and providing technical support. Responsibilities include installing, configuring, and maintaining servers and workstations; managing network devices with a focus on Fortinet devices; providing IT support; ensuring infrastructure security; documenting configurations; and collaborating on new solutions. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, English communication skills, and a team-oriented approach. The position is based in Belgrade.
Good To Have:
  • Certifications such as Microsoft MCSE or Cisco CCNA

We are hiring a System Administrator 
Office-based — Belgrade 

Role Description: 
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Medior System Administrator to maintain and support our IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and maintaining Windows and Linux operating systems, managing network infrastructure, and providing technical support at both 1st and 2nd levels of support. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Administer Windows Server operating systems, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and backups 

  • Manage Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Debian), including service configuration, security settings, and troubleshooting 

  • Maintain Windows 11 workstations, including installation, configuration, security settings, and troubleshooting 

  • Oversee network devices and infrastructure, with a focus on Fortinet devices (firewall, VPN, SD-WAN) 

  • Provide technical support to users and resolve IT issues within 1st and 2nd line support 

  • Monitor and ensure the security of the infrastructure, implementing security protocols and policies 

  • Document configurations, procedures, and issues 

  • Collaborate with the team on implementing new solutions and upgrades 

 

Your Profile: 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles 

  • Solid knowledge of Windows Server OS (2016/2019/2022) administration 

  • Experience working with Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Debian, or similar) 

  • Experience with Windows 10 administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting 

  • Ability to resolve issues within a Windows 11 environment and provide end-user support 

  • Good understanding of network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN) 

  • Experience with configuration and administration of Fortinet devices is a plus 

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently 

  • Excellent English communication skills and a team-oriented approach 

 

Skills That Would Be A Plus: 

  • Certifications such as Microsoft MCSE, Cisco CCNA, Fortinet NSE, or similar 

  • Knowledge of scripting and automation tools 

  • Experience with cloud platforms and virtual environments
