Role: Systems Engineer

Role Overview: 
 
As a Systems Engineer, you will be integral to maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across various platforms. You will collaborate with our talented Technology team to support and develop our gaming environment, contributing to the overall success of our projects.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
•    Manage and maintain Enterprise Linux systems (RHEL, CentOS).
•    Utilize Linux management tools such as Puppet, Foreman, and RHEL Satellite for system configuration and administration.
•    Automate and script Linux tasks using Bash and Ansible.
•    Handle virtualization tasks using VMware and other virtualization technologies.
•    Provide support for storage management systems (HPE Alletra).
•    Manage version control systems (Perforce and Gitlab).
•    Implement and manage monitoring and logging systems to ensure the health and performance of IT systems.
 
Additional Responsibilities:
 
•    Administer Active Directory and Windows Server environments.
•    Assist with Veeam Backups and ensure data integrity and availability.
•    Support O365/Entra and other SaaS applications.
•    Gain exposure to AWS and assist in cloud-based initiatives.
 
Essential Skills/Experience:
 
•    Proficiency in managing Enterprise Linux systems (RHEL, CentOS).
•    Experience with Linux management tools (Puppet, Foreman, RHEL Satellite).
•    Skilled in Linux automation and scripting (Bash, Ansible).
•    Experience with version control systems (Perforce/Gitlab).
•    Familiarity with VMWare and virtualization technologies.
 
Desirable (Non-essential) Skills:
 
•    Knowledge of Active Directory and Windows Server administration.
•    Experience with storage management systems (Nimble/Alletra).
•    Knowledge of Veeam Backup solutions.
•    Familiarity with O365/Entra and SaaS administration.
•    Exposure to logging and monitoring tools.
•    Basic understanding of AWS.
