Are You Up To The Challenge?

The primary goals of this position are to lead a project aimed at selecting and implementing a Finance ERP-CRM system, to refine and optimize financial management processes in accordance with the new systems, and to provide necessary training and support for the Finance team members. The overarching aim is to enhance the department's operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Our finance team shoulders the responsibility of monitoring the financial health of the entire company. They reason with logic, are accurate with numbers, and grasp what adds or brings tangible value to the business. And they do it with great optimism and humour.

What Does The Job Actually Involve? 

• Working with the Finance Department in close collaboration with other departments to understand the specific financial system and reporting requirements of the business.

   

• Assessing the suitability of all financial systems in the business and providing recommendations for improvement.

• Assessing the purchase order, procurement, travel, and general administration processes and providing recommendations for improvement.

• Designing and implementing system controls to provide quality assurance over financial data.

• Implementing, reviewing and maintaining all financial systems, policies and procedures to ensure compliance to relevant standards and regulations across all Kwalee entities.

• Building effective relationships with external vendors and developers, providing constructive feedback on defects and testing, highlighting possible product development to further systems’ functionality.

• Aiding in the design, testing and implementation of new reports, systems functionality and user interfaces and accompanying user guides.

• Train and support finance and non-finance team members in the use of financial systems and procedures, working with the Head of People Development as necessary. 

Your Hard Skills

• Proven experience as a Systems Accountant or similar Project Accountant role gained in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the technology sector.

• Experienced qualified accountant with experience of “Netsuite” or "Dynamics" implementation.

• More than 5 years experience in project management, systems implementation and support.

• Finance systems administration skills and knowledge with a good understanding of end-to-end finance processes, data processes, data architecture and data flows.

   

• CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent qualification.

• Highly computer literate, ideally with advanced MS Excel, data visualisation skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• A progressive, proactive and flexible approach
