Team Leader

You will be responsible for a Philips Avent production line, leading a team of 15 assembly operators from 5:40 AM to 3:40 PM.

Your role:

  • Define and monitor the production planning schedule for the assembly cells.
  • Ensure that the necessary resources (raw materials, machines, labor) are available daily.
  • Guarantee that activities are carried out according to quality standards and within established deadlines.
  • Monitor and ensure that new employees receive correct and continuous training for the team.
  • Monitor quality control procedures.
  • Promote and ensure compliance with safety standards in the workplace.
  • Ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in production processes and implement optimization actions.
  • Ensure the correct use, organization, and storage of materials in the assembly cells.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with the team, superiors, and other departments.
  • Participate in meetings and provide production and performance reports.
  • Solve problems that may arise in the production process quickly and effectively.
  • Make informed and data-driven decisions to resolve operational issues.
  • Organize and manage the work shift, ensuring that the distribution of people is according to the needs of the production plan.
  • Hold daily meetings with the team every day.

This is an on-site position in our Varginha, Minas Gerais office from 5:40 AM to 3:30 PM.
