We are seeking a Technical Writer to join our Program Management office. Your role will involve collating and constructing document repositories with existing and new content, ensuring ease of access for various stakeholders and developing content from different user personas. You will collaborate with Technical Managers, Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Analysts to meet stakeholder requirements and establish documentation standards across the organization. Responsibilities include developing comprehensive documentation, translating complex product and technical information into engaging content, writing user-friendly content, maintaining databases of reference materials, evaluating and improving existing content, and gathering information from subject matter experts to create procedure manuals and technical specifications. You will also explore and integrate AI-enabled tools to enhance efficiency and quality.

Location: Bengaluru 

What you’ll do

The Technical Writer will be an integral part of the Program Management office who will collate and construct document repositories, with the existing and new content. The repositories will be designed to serve the content with ease of access for different stakeholders and also develop content from different user personas. This role will work closely with the Technical managers, Product managers, Data Scientists and Analysts to meet the requirements of different stakeholders. This will also provide opportunities for you to build standards for documentation across the board.

  • Develop comprehensive documentation that meets CoE standards.
  • Obtain a deep understanding of products and services to translate complex product, tech, DS and analytics information into simple, polished, and engaging content.
  • Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience, turning insights language that sets our users up for success.
  • Develop and maintain detailed databases of appropriate reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specifications.
  • Evaluate current content and develop innovative approaches for improvement.
  • Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements.
  • Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
    Work with development and support leads to identify all documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine the best solution for data compilation and centralized storage.
  • Research, create, and maintain information architecture templates that uphold organizational and legal standards, and allow for easy data migration.
  • Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentation.
  • Evangelize different standards of documentation and bring in the appropriate toolsets required to accomplish the objectives.
  • Be tech-savvy in exploring and integrating AI-enabled tools across the documentation lifecycle to enhance delivery efficiency and improve content quality.

What you’ll bring

At least 5 years of experience in building technical content and possess knowledge and Know-hows of technical writing software tools, mindset for research and development, Ability to work with different teams and interpret different stakeholder expectations.
