Job Description
The Test Engineer 1 will be responsible for designing, overseeing, and performing comprehensive software testing, with a primary focus on web applications. This role demands strong web application testing expertise, excellent documentation skills, and a thorough understanding of various software development lifecycle models. Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in both web application and software system testing, coupled with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent practical experience. Proficiency with continuous integration tools, version control systems, and Agile software issues tracking tools is also essential for this position.
Must Have:
- Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance
- Strong web application testing experience
- Ability to lead and take ownership/responsibility
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and customer service mentality
- Ability to design, oversee, and perform software testing
- Experience with software development lifecycle models
- Excellent documentation skills
- Minimum 5 years in web application testing
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, or related (or 4 years additional test engineering experience)
- Minimum 5 years in Software System Testing
- Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins)
- Experience with Configuration Management version control systems (e.g., SVN, GIT)
- Experience with Agile software issues tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
- Ability to work independently and explore options
- Experience developing test documentation (plans, procedures, reports)
- Ability to work as part of a team environment

Program LCAT Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university. Four years of additional test engineering experience may be substituted for Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Software System Testing
- Experience with continuous integration tools (i.e. Jenkins, QuickBuild, etc.)
- Experience with Configuration Management version control systems (i.i. SVN, GIT, etc.)
- Experience with Agile software issues tracking tools (i.e. JIRA, Trac, Redmine, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and explore options
- Experience in the development of test documentation such as test plans, procedures, Test reports
- Ability to work as part of a team environment
