Regular/Senior Test Automation Engineer

Become part of the latest generation of HMI development for a leading German automobile manufacturer, focusing on AR/HUD technologies. This role involves supporting the realization of new functions for an OEM within an agile scrum team. Responsibilities include specifying and implementing test cases for Display Functions, developing automated tests using Robot Framework and Python, supporting process definition and tooling for test automation, executing tests, analyzing defects, and assisting with user story refinement and sprint planning.

Must Have

• Proficiency in Programming Languages (any language, Java, C, Python ect), Git
• Sufficient Knowledge of Python.
• Ability to understand and analyze software requirements specification.
• Sufficient Test Design Techniques knowledge.
• Testing environment setup.
• Defects handling

##### Responsibilities

• In your role as a Test engineer for embedded systems, you will support in the realization of new functions for a German OEM as part of our agile scrum team.
• Your responsibilities will include:
• specification and implementation of test cases for Display Functions
• implementation of automatic test cases with Robot Framework, and Python
• support in process definition and tooling in context of test-automation and traceability
• execution of automated and manual tests
• analysis and reporting of defects in close collaboration with the development team
• user story refinement and support in sprint planning
• task decomposition and estimation
• support of development team in implementing specified user-stories / tasks
