Job Description

Huuuge Games is seeking a Test Automation Engineer in Szczecin to join their team, focusing on mobile games. The role involves writing, maintaining, and improving test cases, designing and executing automated test scripts for mobile and web games, reporting bugs, analyzing logs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a Scrum environment. The engineer will ensure quality across development stages and develop automated test suites using tools like Robot Framework, writing scripts in Python/LUA, and participating in code reviews.

Not afraid of using AI

Must Have:

Minimum 3 years of experience in manual software testing
At least 2 years of experience in test automation
Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies and best practices
Experience writing test cases, test scenarios and structured bug reports
A combination of analytical thinking, strong problem-solving skills, good communication, teamwork, proactivity, responsibility, and effective self-organization
Practical knowledge of Git and SQL
Basic programming skills in Python, Lua, or another popular language
Familiarity with test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework
Experience working in a SCRUM methodology within JIRA and Confluence toolset
Understanding of the software release lifecycle and testers role in it

How will you make an impact with us?

Write, maintain, and improve test cases, test scenarios and test plans
Design and execute automated test scripts for mobile and web-based games
Accurately report bugs and issues with documentation
Analyze application logs to support debugging and troubleshooting
Collaborate with developers, test engineers, producers and product in a scrum methodology
Ensure quality across all stages of development, including regression and release preparation
Develop and maintain automated test suites using tools and frameworks such as Robot Framework
Write efficient, reusable and scalable test scripts in Python/LUA
Participate in code reviews for test scripts and collaborate on improving automation standards and good practices

Job requirements

This is the right job for you if you have:

Minimum 3 years of experience in manual software testing
At least 2 years of experience in test automation and a strong passion for learning and growing in this field
