Senior Game Economy Specialist

Huuuge Games is seeking a Senior Game Economy Specialist to strategically shape economies for top-grossing mobile games. This role involves architecting, optimizing, and balancing complex economic systems, leading deep-dive analyses into player behavior, and identifying opportunities to maximize engagement and LTV. The specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior specialists, and own pricing strategies to ensure a healthy balance between free and paid progression.

Must Have

• Architecting, optimizing, and balancing complex multi-layered economic systems.
• Leading deep-dive analyses into player behavior and game economy health.
• Creating and managing in-game economic systems, including pricing and reward structures.
• Identifying opportunities to maximize player engagement, satisfaction, and LTV.
• Partnering with Product, LiveOps, Design, Analytics, and Monetization teams.
• Owning pricing strategy for in-game goods and currencies.
• 3+ years experience in game economy, data analytics, or product analytics.
• Proven track record in designing and optimizing in-game economies at scale.
• Critical thinking to anticipate risks and identify strategic solutions.
• Experience leading discussions and supporting data-driven decision making.
• Strong understanding of the gaming ecosystem and industry trends.
• Expert level Excel and proficiency in SQL and/or Python.
• Very good command of English.

• Experience owning or significantly shaping the economy of a large-scale live game.
• Expertise in advanced modeling or data science techniques (statistical modeling, simulations, machine learning).
• Experience mentoring or guiding other analysts/economy designers.

How will you make an impact with us?

• Architecting, optimizing and balancing complex multi-layered economic systems across live and new games.
• Leading deep-dive analyses into player behavior, progression, monetization patterns, and the health of game economies.
• Create and manage in-game economic systems, including item pricing, progression curves and reward structures
• Identifying opportunities to maximize player engagement, satisfaction, and LTV through data-driven recommendations.
• Partnering closely with Product, LiveOps, Design, Analytics and Monetization teams to align strategy and execution.
• Mentoring junior specialists, reviewing their models, and raising the overall analytical and economic quality within the team.
• Owning pricing strategy for in-game goods and currencies and ensuring a healthy balance between free and paid progression.

Job requirements

This is the right job for you if you have:

• 3+ years of experience in game economy, data analytics, product analytics, or similar fields.
• Proven track record of designing, balancing, and optimizing in-game economies at scale.
• Critical thinking and the ability to anticipate risks, identify opportunities and strategic solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with Product, Analytics, Monetization and Operations.
• Experience leading discussions, aligning stakeholders and supporting data driven decision making.
• Strong understanding of the gaming ecosystem, including competitors, industry trends, new releases and changes.
• Expert level Excel and proficiency in SQL and/or Python.
• Very good command of English.
