About the project:
We are looking for an experienced Economy Designer to build a complete free-to-play game economy from scratch for a competitive multiplayer title. The ideal candidate has previously designed economies for games similar in structure to Rocket League, League of Legends, or other competitive F2P titles driven by cosmetics and season passes.

- Define XP/points acquisition rules, pacing, and engagement loops.
- Develop strategies to support player retention across seasons.
- Player progression, cosmetic unlock paths, achievements, and limited-time events.
- Ensure systems support healthy pacing, value perception, and sustained engagement.
- Economy flow diagrams, spreadsheets, models, and balancing assumptions.
- Formulas and rules that designers and engineers can directly implement.
- Work with Game Design, Product, and Art teams to align economy with game vision.
- Iterate based on feedback, technical constraints, and roadmap needs.
- Recommend key KPIs (ARPDAU, conversion rates, retention, inflation indicators, etc.).
- Propose methods for testing, validating, and improving the economy post-launch.
Requirements:
- 3+ years as an Economy Designer, Game Balancer, or Systems Designer on F2P titles.
- Demonstrated experience building F2P economies from scratch, not only live-ops adjustments.
- Contribution to at least one shipped or live-service game featuring:
- A Season Pass / Battle Pass or similar progression/monetization model.
- Competitive or multiplayer gameplay (MOBA, action, sports, hero-based, etc.).
- Deep understanding of:
