Senior Test Automation Engineer

Huuuge Games is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join their team in Warsaw. This role involves designing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts for mobile and web games, improving test cases, and reporting bugs. The engineer will collaborate with various teams to ensure quality across all development stages, develop and maintain automated test suites using tools like Robot Framework, and write efficient test scripts in Python/LUA, contributing to a fun and social gaming experience for millions of players.

Must Have

• Write, maintain, and improve test cases, test scenarios and test plans.
• Design and execute automated test scripts for mobile and web-based games.
• Accurately report bugs and issues with documentation.
• Analyze application logs to support debugging and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with developers, test engineers, producers and product managers.
• Ensure quality across all stages of development, including regression and release preparation.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using tools and frameworks such as Robot Framework.
• Write efficient, reusable and scalable test scripts in Python/LUA.
• Participate in code reviews for test scripts and collaborate on improving automation standards and good practices.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manual software testing.
• At least 3 years of experience in test automation.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies and best practices.
• Experience writing test cases, test scenarios and structured bug reports.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools and load testing frameworks.
• Analytical thinking, strong problem-solving skills, good communication, teamwork, proactivity, responsibility, and effective self-organization.
• Practical knowledge of Git and SQL.
• Basic programming skills in Python, Lua, or another popular programming language.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework.
• Experience working in a SCRUM methodology within JIRA and Confluence toolset.
• Understanding of the software release lifecycle and testers role in it.

Good to Have

• ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
• Good and working knowledge of AI in particular in test Automation.
• Knowledge of API testing tools and contract testing principles.
